​RETURN & SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for supporting our handcrafted journey! Because our soap and candles are personal care and small-batch items, we have specific guidelines regarding returns and exchanges to ensure safety and hygiene standards.

PLEASE REVIEW OUR POLICIES BELOW:

Returns

We want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns on unused, unopened items, within 14 days of delivery.

Eligible Items

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, (including unbroken shrink-wrap, labels, and boxes).

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Items must be in resalable condition.

  • Soap & Skincare: For safety and hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any used, unwrapped, or opened soaps, body products, or bath items.

  • Candles: We cannot accept returns on candles that have been lit, have trimmed wicks, or show signs of use.

  • All promotional, sale, clearance items, and custom/bulk orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at milksoaptrinity@gmail.com with your order number, contact information and the reason for the return.

  2. Carefully pack the items to ensure they aren't damaged during transit (items damaged on the way back to us cannot be refunded).

  3. Ship the package to the return address provided by our team. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

​A Note on Handcrafted Variations: Because our products are handcrafted in small batches, slight variations in color, design, shape, and scent strength are normal and celebrate the unique nature of artisanal craftsmanship. These variations do not qualify as product defects.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged during transit or if there is a mistake with your shipment, we want to make it right immediately!

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at milksoaptrinity@gmail.com

  • Include your order number and photos of the damaged item(s) and the shipping box.

  • We will gladly send a replacement or issue a full refund for the damaged items at no extra cost to you.

 

Shipping

Processing & Handling Times

        Because our soaps and candles are handmade, orders require a brief processing window before shipment.

  • Standard Processing: All orders are processed within 2–4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • High-Volume Periods: During holidays or major vendor events, processing may take up to 5–7 business days. If there is a significant delay with your order, we will contact you directly via email.

 

Domestic Shipping Rates & Estimates

We ship nationwide within the United States. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on package weight and destination.

Shipping Method Estimated Delivery Time Cost

Standard Shipping3–5 business days $6.95 / Free over $75 or Promotional Shipping Displayed on Website at the time of Order.

Expedited Shipping1–3 business days Calculated at checkout.

Note on Delivery Times: Delivery estimates begin after the order has been processed and handed over to the carrier (USPS).

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has shipped. The tracking number will become active within 24 hours.

Summer Weather & Melting Notice

Our artisanal milk soaps and natural wax candles are sensitive to extreme heat.

  • During hot summer months, we highly recommend retrieving your package from your mailbox or porch as soon as it arrives to prevent softening or melting.

  • We cannot be held responsible for products left unattended in high-temperature environments for extended periods.

 

Damages & Lost Packages

We take great care in packaging your items securely. However, if your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods.

  • Email us at [Your Support Email Here] with your order number and photos of the damage so we can file a claim and arrange a replacement or refund for you.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the buyer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping fees to resend it.
